Social proof, without leaving Odoo.
Reviews on your card become a structured asset in your database — moderate, surface, and reuse them across your stack.
01Enable reviews on your card
From the backend form view, toggle Show reviews on. A reviews block appears on your card with a "Leave a review" call-to-action and any approved reviews so far.
Visitors leave reviews via a modal: name, rating (1–5), and a free-text comment. The modal is the same one used for the lead form, so tone-of-voice stays consistent.
02The moderation flow
New reviews don't appear publicly until you approve them — every submission lands with is_published = false by default. From the backend, the Reviews menu shows pending submissions with reviewer name, rating, comment, and timestamp. Toggle Published to approve, or delete the row to reject.
A handful of approved reviews is more credible than a wall of them. Five strong reviews beat fifty mediocre ones.
03Where reviews surface
Approved reviews show up in three places:
- On your published card — in the reviews block, ordered most-recent-first.
- In Odoo backend — under the Reviews menu, filterable by rating and card.
- In your weekly digest email — see Email Automations & Digests.
For org-wide review reporting (e.g., average rating across your team), see the admin track's CRM & Lead Routing guide.
