Credit approval and lease signing: written steps
Who does this: Sales reps and leasing coordinators
Reps want to know the moment a deal's credit is approved so the paperwork goes out fast, and a signed lease should show as signed everywhere.
This training covers
- Approving a credit application
- The message and activity on the sales order
- The signed lease agreement on the portal
Before you start
- It works the same for every leasing company.
- Manual approvals and funder decisions both trigger it.
- No setup is needed.
Credit approval and lease signing
- On the credit application, set Credit Status.
- Choose Approved and save.
- The order shows the message and the Credit Approved activity.
- Portal after signing: View Details and View Lease Agreement.
- The lease signature is the order's signature.
What you just did
- Approved a credit application
- Saw the order message and the Credit Approved activity
- Saw the portal treat the order as signed
That's credit approval and lease signing. Next up, Chapter 4: lease access and funding invoices.
